
Jakarta (Cyn-Warek3) – A warm and hopeful atmosphere filled the Hercules Hall today, June 23, 2025, as this higher education institution welcomed a special visit from the delegation of the University of Gyeongnam Namhae, South Korea. This visit was more than a courtesy call — it marked a significant milestone in expanding international networks and enhancing the quality of education through the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).


Acara diawali dengan sesi kunjungan dan sosialisasi program-program unggulan dari University of Gyeongnam Namhae. Dalam presentasinya, Rektor Young-Sik, Noh memaparkan berbagai peluang kerja sama, mulai dari program pertukaran mahasiswa, kolaborasi riset, hingga program magang internasional yang dapat memperkaya pengalaman akademik mahasiswa. Suasana semakin semarak dengan kehadiran perwakilan mahasiswa dari Program Studi Teknik Elektro, Teknik Industri, dan Teknik Penerbangan semester 4, yang aktif mengajukan pertanyaan dan menunjukkan minat besar terhadap prospek belajar di Korea Selatan. Salah satu momen menarik adalah kehadiran Iqlima Giar Anisa, mahasiswi University of Gyeongnam Namhae asal Kabupaten Sukabumi, yang turut berbagi pengalaman inspiratifnya selama menempuh pendidikan di Korea Selatan, memberikan gambaran nyata bagi para mahasiswa yang hadir.

The highlight of the event was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UNSURYA and the University of Gyeongnam Namhae. This agreement serves as the official foundation for various future collaborative programs, including faculty and student exchanges, joint curriculum development, and innovative research projects.
In his remarks, the Rector of UNSURYA expressed his optimism about the partnership.
“We warmly welcome this collaboration. The University of Gyeongnam Namhae has an excellent reputation, particularly in the field of engineering. We believe this partnership will open up more opportunities for our students and faculty to grow their potential and contribute on a global scale,” he stated.
Enthusiasm was also expressed by Rector Young-Sik Noh, who shared his excitement about the collaboration.
“We see great potential in UNSURYA, especially with its strong engineering programs. We hope this MoU will mark the beginning of a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship between our two institutions,” he remarked.
The presence of Mr. Noh Chang Dong, as the Authorized Representative and Program Coordinator, along with Mr. Cecep as staff member, helped ensure the smooth planning and technical alignment for the implementation of the upcoming collaborative programs.

This visit and the signing of the MoU serve as a testament to UNSURYA’s commitment to producing globally competitive graduates and strengthening its position as a leading, innovative, and internationally oriented higher education institution. It is hoped that this partnership will nurture a new generation of young leaders who are prepared to face global challenges and proudly represent Indonesia on the international stage.
