Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (Unsurya) successfully held a Technical Assistance (Bimtek) session on Institutional Accreditation for Higher Education on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the Hercules Hall, Campus “A”.
The event aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding for the accreditation preparation team, university leaders, lecturers, and administrative staff regarding the process of preparing accreditation documents in accordance with the latest instruments issued by BAN-PT.

The Rector of Unsurya presented a token of appreciation to Dr. Rina Astini, S.E., M.M. in recognition of her role as a speaker during the technical assistance session for Unsurya’s accreditation preparation.
This activity featured a distinguished speaker from LLDikti Region 3 Jakarta, Dr. Rina Astini, S.E., M.M., who delivered an in-depth presentation on the latest accreditation standards and instruments. In his opening remarks, the Rector of Unsurya emphasized the importance of improving educational quality through the strengthening of the internal quality assurance system and quality culture within the university. The Head of LP3M Unsurya also presented the outcomes of the drafting process for the Self-Evaluation Report (LED) and the Higher Education Performance Report (LKPT) as part of the institutional accreditation preparation.
During the main session, the speaker elaborated on the nine accreditation criteria that serve as the basis for assessment by BAN-PT. A simulated assessment was conducted to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the documents prepared by the Unsurya team. An interactive discussion followed, where participants actively engaged with the speaker on strategic aspects of accreditation document preparation, including institutional vision and mission, governance, human resources, finance and assets, and the outcomes of the university’s tri dharma (education, research, and community service).
The results of the session included the formulation of a more structured initial draft of the LED and LKPT documents, and an improved understanding among participants of the overall accreditation process. Furthermore, the session helped identify the institution’s strengths and areas for improvement in meeting the nine accreditation criteria.
This technical guidance session is expected to serve as a significant initial step for Unsurya in achieving a higher accreditation rating. The university’s commitment to educational quality enhancement and institutional governance will remain a top priority in realizing Unsurya’s vision to become a leading university at both national and international levels.
