Jakarta – Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (Unsurya) welcomed an honorary visit from the Chairperson of UI GreenMetric World, Dr. Vishnu Juwono, S.E., M.I.A., on Thursday, July 24, 2025. The visit took place at Campus A of Unsurya, Jakarta. (24/07)

Dr. Vishnu Juwono, S.E., M.I.A., was warmly received by the Rector of Unsurya, Air Vice Marshal (Ret.) Dr. Sungkono, S.E., M.Si., along with the university’s leadership. The visit aimed to strengthen synergy and strategic cooperation between UI GreenMetric and higher education institutions in Indonesia. During the visit, a strategic discussion was held on sustainability programs within the university environment, along with an introduction of the new Chairperson of UI GreenMetric. The meeting also covered potential further collaborations through the consulting services offered by UI GreenMetric.

In his welcome remarks, the Rector of Unsurya expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed Unsurya’s commitment to continuously developing environmentally friendly campus infrastructure and culture. “The presence of the Chairperson of UI GreenMetric brings new motivation for us in realizing a campus that excels not only academically but also plays an active role in preserving the environment,” he stated. This visit marks an important momentum in reinforcing Unsurya’s commitment to continually improve and innovate in creating a green, healthy, and sustainable campus environment.

The Chairperson of UI GreenMetric emphasized the importance of collaboration among universities to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and expressed appreciation for the initiatives undertaken by Unsurya to create a greener campus environment. He also introduced a new program from UI GreenMetric: a consulting service designed to assist universities in evaluating and improving their sustainability performance, as well as supporting international cooperation within the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings network.
