MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS OF HALIM PERDANAKUSUMA SUB-DISTRICT

On December 18, 2024, the Master of Management Study Program at Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma held a community service activity with the theme “Management Information System for Administrative Affairs of Halim Perdanakusuma Sub-District.” This activity took place at the Halim Perdanakusuma Sub-District Office and aimed to enhance understanding and implementation of management information systems in sub-district administration to support the improvement of public service quality.

The event began with an opening speech by the Head of Halim Perdanakusuma Sub-District, Mr. Heru Suryono, S.H., M.Si., who officially inaugurated the activity. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation for the initiative taken by Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma in helping to improve the effectiveness of sub-district administration through the utilization of information technology. He also emphasized the importance of implementing management information systems to accelerate administrative processes and enhance the transparency of public services.

As the speaker for this event, Dr. Ranthy Pancasasti, S.Kom., M.Si., M.M., delivered a presentation on the Management Information System for Sub-District Administration. The material covered various benefits of using information systems in administrative management, strategies for implementing technology in government, and examples of successful information system implementations that have improved the quality of public administrative services. The activity was attended by sub-district officials and local residents who actively participated in a discussion session on the challenges and opportunities in applying management information systems within the sub-district environment. The active interaction between participants and the speaker created a dynamic and insightful discussion atmosphere.

As part of the event series, a friendly gathering session was held at the end of the activity to strengthen the relationship between academia, government, and the community. In addition, certificates were awarded to participants as a token of appreciation for their participation. Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma also presented a souvenir to the Halim Perdanakusuma Sub-District Office as a symbol of collaboration in supporting the modernization of sub-district administration through technological innovation.

Through this activity, it is hoped that the management information system can be optimally implemented in the Halim Perdanakusuma Sub-District, resulting in more efficient and transparent public services. The Master of Management Study Program at Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma will continue to contribute to the development of science and technology to support the advancement of governance and society in Indonesia.
