Thursday, January 16, 2025, the Community Service Team (PKM) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (FH Unsurya) conducted a legal counseling session with the theme “Dissemination of the Marriage Law as an Effort to Prevent Early Marriage”, held at the Aula Avis of SMAN 42 East Jakarta.

The PKM team for this legal outreach activity was led by Rara Amalia Cendhayanie, S.H., M.H., with members: Lindri Purbowati, S.H., M.H.; Marissa Kemala Dirgantini, S.H., M.H.; Nunuk Sulisrudatin, S.H., S.IP., M.Si.; Tito Pramudita, S.H., M.H., and FH Unsurya students: M. Ikhsan Hafizh, Wendy Kusuma, and Maimunah.

The legal counseling activity began with a pre-test given to participants, followed by material presentations from the speakers, including:

Legal Age of Marriage According to the Marriage Law” by Marissa Kemala Dirgantini, S.H., M.H.“Causes of Early Marriage” by Rara Amalia Cendhayanie, S.H., M.H. Impacts of Early Marriage” by Lindri Purbowati, S.H., M.H.

The activity proceeded smoothly, with participants showing great enthusiasm, especially during the discussion session. At the end of the event, a post-test was administered to assess the participants’ understanding.

The event was warmly welcomed by SMAN 42 Jakarta, represented by the Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs, Ms. Ayooshita, S.Pd., who expressed appreciation for the legal counseling initiative and conveyed hopes that FH Unsurya would continue to organize more legal outreach activities for the students of SMAN 42 Jakarta.
