Kondisi kegawat daruratan dapat terjadi di mana saja dan kapan saja termasuk dalam dunia penerbangan, oleh karena itu kompetensi bidang kesehatan penerbangan di Indonesia saat ini perlu terus dikembangkan. Dinas Kesehatan TNI Angkatan Udara, melalui Lembaga Kesehatan Penerbangan dan Luar Angkasa (Lakespra Saryanto) sebagai badan pelaksana pusat Mabes TNI Angkatan Udara dan Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (Unsurya) yang bernaung di bawah binaan Yayasan Adi Upaya (Yasau) bersinergi untuk pengembangannya. Hal tersebut selaras dengan Visi dan Misi Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma sebagai “Center of excellent” pendidikan tinggi kedirgantaraan dan ilmu-ilmu terkait. Oleh karena itu Unsurya membuka program studi program sarjana keperawatan dan pendidikan profesi ners, dengan keunggulan keperawatan gawat darurat dengan keunikan kesehatan penerbangan.
Prospek Kerja
Output Lulusan Program Studi Program Pendidikan Sarjana Keperawatan Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (Unsurya) akan memainkan peran sesuai keberadaan atau kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam bidangnya antara lain :
- Sebagai tenaga kesehatan / praktisi Rumah Sakit / Fasilitas Kesehatan di lingkungan TNI / TNI Angkatan Udara.
- Sebagai perwira prajurit karir korps Kesehatan TNI / TNI Angkatan Udara.
- Sebagai Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN).
- Sebagai Praktisi Kesehatan Penerbangan.
- Sebagai Asisten Peneliti.
- Sebagai Asisten Dosen.
