DEVELOPING SERVICE AND CHARACTER BUILDING AT PT. BPRS ARTHA MADANI THROUGH EXCELLENT HUMAN RESOURCE COMPETENCE

As part of its commitment to developing excellent human resources, the Master of Management Study Program at Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma organized a community service activity with the theme “Developing Service and Character Building at PT. BPRS Artha Madani through Excellent Human Resource Competence.”
The event took place on July 14, 2023, at PT. BPRS Artha Madani, Bekasi.
This activity aimed to improve service quality and build professional character through the enhancement of human resource competence within the environment of PT. BPRS Artha Madani.
The event began with an opening speech by the Chairman of the Senate, Prof. Dr. A. Dirwan, M.Sc., who emphasized the importance of competency development as part of improving service quality and professionalism in the Islamic banking industry.
He also stated that enhancing the quality of human resources is a key factor in facing increasingly complex business challenges in the digital era.
Subsequently, a speech was delivered by the Director of the Postgraduate Program, Dr. Sri Widodo, S.AP., M.Si. (Han), who emphasized the role of academia in supporting the improvement of workforce quality through scientific research and best practices in the field of management.
Then, the Director of PT. BPRS Artha Madani, Cahayo Kartiko, S.P., also gave a speech reaffirming the company’s commitment to enhancing service quality and employee competence in order to provide added value to customers and drive sustainable business growth.
During the core session, three expert speakers were invited to share insights and strategies for developing human resource competencies in the Islamic banking sector.
The first speaker, Dr. Sri Yanthy Yosepha, S.Pd., M.M., discussed strategies for strengthening character and work ethic in the Islamic banking industry.
She emphasized that integrity and professionalism are the key foundations for delivering high-quality services to customers.
The next session was presented by Dr. Ahmad Faisal, S.E., M.M., who discussed the topic of managerial skills development and strategies for adapting to changes in the financial industry.
In his presentation, he shared various case studies and examples of how service development based on strong character values has been implemented in the banking sector.
As the third speaker, Yulita, S.E., M.M. discussed the aspect of leadership in the workplace and how to build an effective work culture within an organization.
She emphasized the importance of inspirational leadership and how leaders can play a key role in creating a harmonious and productive work environment.
The event received enthusiastic responses from the participants, who included employees of PT. BPRS Artha Madani as well as attending academics.
The interactive discussions reflected the participants’ strong interest in gaining a deeper understanding of how to improve service quality through the enhancement of human resource competence.
As part of strengthening collaboration between academia and industry, the event also featured the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Cooperation Agreement (PKS), and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma and PT. BPRS Artha Madani.
These agreements aim to enhance collaboration in human resource development, training, and the sustainable improvement of workforce competencies in the Islamic banking sector.
The event received enthusiastic responses from the participants, consisting of employees from PT. BPRS Artha Madani and attending academics.
The interactive discussions reflected the participants’ strong interest in gaining deeper insights into how to develop quality services through improved human resource competencies.
As a closing, the event concluded with a networking session, which served as an opportunity to build connections and share experiences between academics and professionals from the banking industry.
In addition, certificates were awarded to participants as a token of appreciation for their involvement in the event.
Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma also presented souvenirs to PT. BPRS Artha Madani and the speakers as a symbol of collaboration in supporting the development of excellent human resources in the Islamic banking sector.
Through this activity, it is hoped that a stronger synergy between academia and industry can be established in producing competent, character-driven, and globally competitive professionals.
The Master of Management Study Program at Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma will continue to play an active role in supporting the development of high-quality human resources to face increasingly dynamic competition.
