Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (Unsurya) received a research grant from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) to support a scientific study titled “Integration of the ASEAN Regional Payment Connectivity Through QRIS as an Effort to Accelerate Regional Economic and Financial Cooperation.” This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation and impact of cross-border payment system integration in the ASEAN region through QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) technology.

As part of the accountability process for this research, Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma appointed one of its researchers, Dr. Sri Yanthy Yosepha, S.Pd., MM, a lecturer from the Master of Management Study Program, to present the research report, the achievements attained, as well as the academic and practical implications of the study conducted.

This research highlights the role of QRIS in accelerating regional payment connectivity, which has the potential to enhance financial transaction efficiency, strengthen ASEAN economic integration, and promote digital economic growth across the region. Through this study, it is expected that meaningful contributions can be made to both national and regional economic policies and financial systems.

The accountability report also includes an evaluation of the challenges and opportunities in implementing QRIS as a cross-border payment tool. This encompasses regulatory aspects, infrastructure readiness, and adoption by businesses and communities in ASEAN member states.

Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma’s involvement in this research demonstrates its commitment to supporting innovation and academic collaboration at both national and international levels. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a valuable reference for governments, regulators, and industry players in driving digital transformation and strengthening economic cooperation in the ASEAN region.
