
FH Unsurya Undergraduate Law Students Selected as International Presenters at the 2nd Academic International Conference on Law Literacy (2nd AICoLCy)
Three undergraduate students from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (FH UNSURYA) — Dakarffa o Dkarowi, Yulia Hana, and Zahwa Kanya — proudly marked their achievement by being selected as international presenters at The 2nd Academic International Conference on Law Literacy (2nd AICoLCy). The conference carried the theme “Transformation of Business Law in the Digital Age: Challenges and Opportunities in Southeast Asia,” and was organized by the Faculty of Law, Muria Kudus University on February 8, 2025, in a hybrid format.
The Dean of FH Unsurya, Air Vice Marshal (Ret.) Dr. Sujono, S.H., M.H., C.FrA., expressed his pride in the students’ accomplishments and conveyed his hope that this achievement would inspire other FH Unsurya students to actively participate in future international academic activities.
Under the guidance of Dr. Rizky, S.H., M.H. (Lecturer of the Master of Law Program at FH Unsurya), the students successfully presented their academic paper in English and received constructive feedback from the panelists and participants to further improve their research.
Their paper was titled:
“Protection of Personal Data of E-commerce Sellers and Buyers According to Indonesian Law.”
Dakarffa shared his excitement about participating in the conference, stating that the experience helped sharpen his legal reasoning and improved his public English-speaking skills. He expressed his enthusiasm to take part in similar events in the future.
According to their supervisor, the three students — Dakarffa, Yulia, and Zahwa — were among the youngest presenters at the conference, as many of the other participants in the parallel sessions already held Master’s degrees.
