
Jakarta, July 29, 2025 – The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma (Unsurya) has officially entered into a strategic collaboration with the Regional Public Hospital (RSUD) Budhi Asih to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes education, research, and community service, as well as graduate employment opportunities. This collaboration also aims to optimize and develop human resources (HR) in nursing and other health service fields.
The collaboration discussion meeting took place at the Meeting Room of RSUD Budhi Asih, East Jakarta, and was attended by leadership representatives from both institutions. From RSUD Budhi Asih, several key officials were present, including:
- Head of General Affairs, Marketing, and Human Resources
- Head of Nursing Division
- Coordinator of Intensive Care Nursing (KSP)
- Coordinator of Inpatient Nursing (KSP)
- Coordinator of Outpatient Nursing (KSP)
- Coordinator of Legal Secretariat (KSP)
- Coordinator of Training and Education (KSP)
- Head of Education and Training Coordination (Kordik)
Representing Universitas Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma were:

- Cynthia Rahmawati, S.Si., M.Si (Han) – Representative from the University Cooperation Bureau
- Ns. Fitri Anggraeni, M.Kes. – Cooperation PIC for the D3 Nursing Study Program
- Ns. Iman Nurmansyah, S.Kep. – Cooperation PIC for the S1 Nursing and Professional Nurse Study Programs
In his remarks, the Vice Dean of FIKES Unsurya, Ns. Khaerul Amri, M.Kep., stated that this collaboration is a concrete step in strengthening the link between academia and health service institutions.
“We realize that the success of healthcare education greatly depends on strong partnerships with health service institutions. RSUD Budhi Asih is an ideal partner in this regard, as it has a comprehensive healthcare system and qualified human resources. We hope this collaboration will be manifested through student clinical practice, joint training, collaborative research, and ongoing community service,” he explained.

This collaboration is expected to serve as a catalyst in improving the quality of nursing and midwifery graduates through competency-based clinical practice. Additionally, it opens wide opportunities for lecturers and healthcare workers from both institutions to conduct joint research and community service projects that directly benefit the surrounding communities.
The Head of General Affairs, Marketing, and Human Resources at RSUD Budhi Asih expressed enthusiasm for this collaboration. According to him, collaboration with academic institutions such as the Faculty of Health Sciences at Unsurya is highly strategic in supporting the internal HR capacity development of the hospital while also providing practical learning opportunities for students.
“We see great potential in this collaboration, both in terms of improving hospital service quality and contributing to the education of future outstanding healthcare professionals,” he said.

Focus Areas and Scope of Collaboration
Several key areas discussed in the collaboration include:
- Implementation of clinical practice for nursing and midwifery students
- Internship programs and soft skills training for healthcare workers
- Joint training and workshops involving lecturers, students, and RSUD medical staff
- Collaborative research on nursing care and public health services
- Joint community service programs in East Jakarta and surrounding areas
- RSUD HR support as clinical practice supervisors and guest lecturers on campus
- Graduate employment opportunities
This partnership will be formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Cooperation Agreement (PKS), which are planned to be signed in the near future. Through this collaboration, the Faculty of Health Sciences at Unsurya reaffirms its commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also adaptive, professional, and competitive in the real-world workforce. On the other hand, RSUD Budhi Asih strengthens its position as a teaching hospital that supports HR development and healthcare service innovation.
