The Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering at Unsurya focuses on the management and optimization of industrial systems, including production, operations, supply chain management, and the use of technology to enhance efficiency and productivity across various industrial sectors.

Job Prospects

Industrial Engineering graduates have broad and flexible career opportunities across various sectors, enabling them to take on strategic roles such as Project Manager, Logistics Specialist, Quality Controller, Product Analyst, Cost Control Engineer, Data Scientist, Market Researcher, Sales Engineer, Production Planner, Supply Chain Analyst or Manager, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).

“To become an excellent and competent study program in the design, engineering, improvement, and operation of integrated systems composed of humans, equipment, materials, energy, and information within the scope of logistics, industry, and aviation, through the application of science and technology.”

  1. To produce industrial engineering graduates who master the knowledge and skills required to design, engineer, improve, and operate effective and efficient integrated systems, and who are independent, resilient, and entrepreneurial.

  2. To conduct research and technological development in logistics, manufacturing industries, and aviation that is beneficial and adds value to society.

  1. To produce graduates who are ethical, independent, and possess leadership skills in the field of industrial engineering.

  2. To enable graduates to work in the professional field or pursue further education.

  3. To equip graduates with the ability to plan, improve, and install industrial engineering systems, especially in the aerospace industry (e.g., airport layout or ergonomic design for aircraft cockpits and cabins).

  4. To develop the ability to design ergonomic and efficient integrated systems.

  1. Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of industrial internships and final projects to ensure alignment with societal needs, information technology advancements, and aerospace development, so graduates can apply their knowledge in real-world contexts.

  2. Continuously gather feedback from faculty, alumni, and students to align the curriculum with industry needs and technological developments.

  3. Establish sustainable collaborations between the program and industry/government institutions.

  4. Improve human resources through seminars, workshops, research, and further education for lecturers.

  5. Recruit new lecturers who are competent and aligned with the vision and mission of the Industrial Engineering program.

  6. Evaluate lecturer performance and course quality through the Academic Information System (SIAKAD), based on student assessments, which are then reviewed by the study program.

  7. Provide job vacancy information, both from internal and external sources (including alumni), to support graduate employment.
